About

A little more about me…

I’m a former editor of The Bump, CafeMom, and Bridal Guide and at publications owned by Condé Nast, Hearst, and NBCUniversal. I’ve also worked as a managing editor at a digital health company, creating consumer-facing content on a wide variety of health and mental health topics. Throughout my freelance career, I’ve worked with many brands and publications, including Healthline, Parents, SELF, Good Housekeeping, and Real Simple. I’m passionate about creating high-quality work, getting the facts right, and telling compelling stories informed by human experience and expertise.

Whether I’m editing an article or writing copy that promotes a brand’s message, the reader/user is at the heart of it all. I strive to satisfy their curiosity and connect in a voice that truly speaks to them. My background in service journalism sets the foundation of everything I do: I strive to help and inform.

Over the years, my skillset has expanded greatly and my experience runs the gamut of books, magazines, digital publications, apps, content marketing, and more. I’m adept at creating in-depth content strategies that deliver on business goals. I also teach writing and editing for the Pace University Master in Publishing Program.

I grew up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh and spent time living in New York City before settling into my current home in the Hudson Valley with my husband and kids.

In my free time, I enjoy reading and practicing yoga. I’m currently working toward 200 hours of yoga teacher training.
